The only way to kill a zombie is to kill the brain. So guns work great but what if you don't have a gun.  But the 2nd best thing is blunt weapons, like a baseball bat or a axe. A hard hit t the head should do it.  The only  bad thing about guns is the ammo it can be stolen or lost.  Now you need to learn to barricade. First you should stock up on food and weapons then

barricade your self in a factory with very little windows and lots of food.  If your not the barricading type try getting a boat and bringing lots of food and a sniper rifle zombies can not swim!!!!!!!
